Hello, Cathy. I, too, have a Mac Mini, late 2012 version. I used it without a
monitor for as long as I've had it, a week or so. I just got it for Christmas.
Today, though, I hooked it up to this huge, monstrous TV with an HDMI thing. I
don't really know if I was successful, I mean there is a
Hello David. It is called VO Starter. It is a free download from the

You want to improve its response? Voiceover is slow on your end? What Mac do
you have? I think getting more Ram might help it. But on my end, even with the
mac mini, voiceover is just as fast, and maybe even more so, to NVDA on windows.

hi,
mac mini late 2012 version. response is good except where I have to type in
a search field. reason for question is that I want to buy a second mac mini
eventually and I want to avoid purchasing a quad processor if possible.
maybe the 8 megapites will solve the minor problem?
Wow. That's amazing. I have the mac mini 2012 version too! LOL, Apple is
getting lots of money for the mini, LOL. Well, sometimes I do experience
legginess when typing, and I do think that getting a little more Ram will help
a little. And if apple has something like the way in Windows where you
What if I replaced the 5400 hard drive with a 7200 solid state? upgrade ram

4 to 8 megs? I hope you mean gigs. :) Yes, I'm sure that will help a lot. Also,
remember that the mini does need a monitor, which, I know, doesn't make it
quite a mini anymore, but it does need it to work in optimal performance.

Hello all,
I have a number of questions regarding using this program.
1. I am in pages and have created a new document. I now want to save it. I
press command-D to save and interact with the text to create the file name.

There should be a list view. Interact with that and you can choose the location.

Hey, I'm a beginner too, sort of. I have had much experience with iOS with a
bluetooth keyboard, the same keyboard I'm using to type this on the mac, so I
guess I'm not that much of a beginner, but I do catch on to things quickly I

I've got a couple questions as well.
Can this program be used to write college papers, is it accessible to
Voiceover, and Does it provide support for advanced formatting options, such

You are in the company of very very good people here. Iv' been using a mac for

Italicizing is advanced? I thought you could do that even in the mail program.
Yes, you can. Now, indenting, I'm not sure. you can center a text, but I'm not
sure about other indentations.
Yes, you can press the tab key to indent, but that might be the most
advanced thing you can do
My answer is below your quoted text.

Ah, the 2012 mini is pretty good, its just, well, deceptive. Its so small and

why not just make a big computer tower like HP and all that, why make it
small? Those are my thoughts, and if my techie friend at school can

I was able to get one because of graduation money I received, haven't really
used it at college yet but I have a feeling that will change soon enough. I
did, however, use it for an online class and found it to be very good with
blackboard.
