Hi Lynne, Did you put the Apex in Terminal Mode. I don't have an Apex, but a good friend of mine does, and I was helping her with hers recently. I believe you have to go into the Connectivity settings on the Apex, put it in terminal Mode, then proceed as you did with the iPhone. Then choose

I would have said yes. I do it all the time. My iMac goes to sleep after an hour, but my iPhone charges up when connected. Although, if you have a USB keyboard and plug into the ports on the keyboard, you'll get different results. I think they will even drain the phone when the computer sleeps.
