Well, if they can be, why does it not show up under my purchases?
According to I tunes, audio books, can not be downloaded again.

It is completely accessible. After file volt is on you must hit command-f5
every time you reboot your computer. After you do that you will hear 1 beep.
This means you enter your username then hit return. You will then hear 2
beeps. Type your password and hit return. If you entered everythi
and the tech who heard this was not able to reproduce this on his own device? I
wonder if he tested this with other voices as well? Just thinking out loud
here.
Take care.

I read the directions and one of them said that you will be prompted to log in.
I have voice over set to speak at the log on prompt so will this part be

Yes this is totally the case. I typed in the notes app, in a search screen, in
email and got the same weird result every time. I don’t see how an agent could
have gotten any different. I used mixed case, all lower case, quotes as you did

Hi Diane,
Where are you typing this?
If it is in the app store, maybe it is showing an app of that name that is
only available in IOS 7X. I'll try it on mine later.

Hello Sarah,
Yes, I interpreted the OP the same as you did, which is why I suggest emailing
Apple Accessibility rather than leaving it unresolved and unreplicated with
their phone support staff.

I think the original poster called apple accessibility and the guy could get
the voice to say the word convert correctly. Let me know if I misunderstood the
original post.

Hello Diane,
Thank you for posting this. I’ve noticed it when using the US English HQ voice
on my iPhone 5S and iPad Mini since upgrading both to IOS 7.1. I slowed the
speech rate down to 5 percent and still hear it pronounced as "conv a lot.”
Note that pronunciation of the word seems fine when
What voices are you guys using? I cannot test as I'm not updated. Also are
they hq or compact?
Take care.

Interesting. Well, if that article is correct, hopefully apple will change it
so you can redownload purchased audio books in case your computer brakes. I
guess time will tell.
Good luck.

I did a Google search on downloading purchased audio books, and the article
says, that once you download the book, it can not be downloaded again.
That's what the rep told me from I tunes store.

Strange. I thought that the purchased items were for apps, books and music as
well as movies and tv shows. Is there documentation tha thou know of where it
states that you cannot redownload audio books bought from iTunes? I'm curious
now.
Take care.

Please type in the word "convert " in search on an IIOS 7.1 device, and have
VO read it.
I have done this with 3 separate users, on iPad mini, iPhone 4s, and iPhone

In all cases, VO says "convela." I realize this is very weird, and cannot
believe that it is true. Before upgrading to IO

I hate to be the barer of bad news, but it wouldn’t work even with the specific

I’ll attempt to answer your 2 questions in reverse.
Regarding the list archives, there should be a few links at the bottom of each
