If you already have it set up, then just plug the drive in and that's it. It
will start. If you do not go to time machine prefs in system settings and
choose the disk. It might or might not erase what's already there if it is full.

Hi All, would someone please remind me of the backing-up process using Time

I would like to do a back-up to my external hard drive, I know it is done
through time machine. Would someone be kind enough as to tell me step by
step how to do this? For instance, do I have to highlight the external hard
drive first before going in to time machine, etc.
