OH definitely I agree. and in the poster's case maybe convince one of the app
debs to change the name of the app once it is installed. *smiles*
The 2 finger double tap jester is def the way to do it as I would label voice
memos for my sake that way. lol!

The ability to add labels for VoiceOver was a feature that was added to iOS 5.
You can check the AxS Lab link summarizing current iOS VoiceOver Gesture,
Braille, and Keyboard Shortcuts for the equivalent commands to add labels using
a keyboard and Braille:

That works every ware. Be aware sometimes labels don't' stick. I don't know why
and I'm hoping apple fixes it but just to make you aware.

fine. Can you do the same trick to label unlabelled buttons in an iPhone App?

Sarah's correct -- you can't change the name of the app's file, but you can
change the VoiceOver label associated with the icon on the screen. But it will
only apply locally to your device, and will only last until you next sync or
update your device with a newer version of the applic
I don't think you can. YOu can how ever assign a voice over label too one of
them. double tap and hold with 2 fingers as if you were playing 2 notes
together on a piano and wait until you hear 3 beeps followed by another sound
then type in the label for the app. This will rename it only in voic
