The 2.74 release of XQuartz is the last stable release. XQuartz is advising
Mavericks users to use 2.7.5 rc3 or later, which is their development release.

which "installs on demand under Maverick".
Humanware were useless when I tried to find out whether the Eyepal will work

When I upgraded from Lion to Mountain Lion I found a version of X11 which
allowed the EyePal scanning application to continue to work, if anything
more smoothly than before.
Does anybody know anything about X11 support in Mavericks?
