Sorry for all questions, it is just I am trying to wean myself off Windows
and using Mac more rather than concentrating on training lessons. It is
only with more use that the issues are arising.
Now in Mail, I thought if I want to reply to a message and to use dictation,
I could press the Fn
The last time I have tried to use dictation on this mac book pro in the early
months when I got this mac it was working fine. Now when I have tried dictation
I start it with the fn key and stop it with the fn key.
Now this was happening before my recent clean install of mavericks so I
I guess what I am trying to tell you is this is a bug in mavericks.

VoiceOver saying “Misspelt” is an option. You need to spend some time going
through the VoiceOver Utility and looking at all the settings. Pay particular
attention to the Verbosity category, especially the Text tab.

Well, I read messages a little different from most. I press enter on the
messages thread. This on pens the message in another window. Then I do VO e

Ar nice! So what does this speak command actually do? Sorry; never used
it since I rely on VoiceOver speaking text.
