I have an iPad Mini here and have not experienced any delays with page turning, whether automatic or manually with 3-finger swipes. I have had some other issues with continuous reading but if I force into landscape mode, then continuous reading works fine for me. Only issues I have right now over

I have the original iPad, and I do notice more of a gap between pages in the Kindle app than with the iBooks or Nook apps, but it isn't anything like 6 seconds. I don't notice this on my 4S, making me wonder if the issue is processor or ram dependent. Maybe somebody with a newer iPad, i.e. the 3
