Hi James
Yes, this has been my problem. Anne sent me some great info about using
styles, but as you rightly say it's difficult to handle without the use of hot

to this functionality without delay, I may have no optio
Hi Matthew
As far as I am aware, Pages doesn't handle Office 2010/2013 .docx files, but it
does handle Office 2003/2007 .doc files. I'll do some experimentation though,
but I do need to use the .docx flavour in order to stay compatible with my
colleagues. I really would prefer to use the Mac,

Can nices or how ever you spell that program edit footers and headers? I'm
asking this as I might have to do this the next time, hopefully never, I might
have to use APA formatting. and since you have to do headers and footers and
possibly running headers I'm hoping the answer is yes.

Hi Gordon,
It is possible to add headers and footers etc in Pages and Nisus Writer
(Express and Pro). However, Aside from setting Hot Spots or a tone to play as
the attributes change there is no way I know of for Voiceover to distinguish
headings from the main body text. It simply treats all t

Hi all
I know this is a very old topic, but I'd be interested to know how, using
modern-day software, people ho about editing Word documents on the Mac. I need
to use this format for compatibility reasons, and I really don't want to have
to go into Windows to do the job. But I need a way of a
