Hi A bit inaccurate. FineReader can be configured to open saved documents with a specific application, I have mine set to open them with Textedit. I don't think I ever saw an answer to this one. Were the files you copied applications by chance? Apps under the hood are really whole directory tree bundles which may have dozens or hundreds of files. So 48 apps could have turned into thousands of files to copy. Just a thought. CB Chris Hofs
