There is Kate, Paul and Julie. There are also the akapella voices in "speak
it!". They don't integrate with VO though. As far as I know, on unjailbroken
iOS, there are no other voices.

I think they compare very favorably indeed. At this moment, I'm using the
American English Heather: and, to tell you the truth, I find this voice
actually more responsive than Alex. The Nuance voices-such as come free with
Lion or above-are next in line to the quickness of response of the Aca
Ah and Sarina is the other voice I use. She's one of the built in voices.
