I found out when I had this problem [usualy when another artist is listed with
the main artist] that putting the main artist into the album artist field for
every track in that album brings all the tracks back together in the album as
they are supposed to be!

Just checked and you are subscribed with the name of Angus MacKinnon.
You can change this to something else but you can't modify the email
address. If you want to switch to another email address let me know and
I can manually add the new address to the group and then you can delete
the old one.

select these files, then, you need to have iTunes get the file data for the
ones you want to correct. I forget where this is, but, it's there.

My situation is the following.
A 1800 and something songs library on iTunes.
About 15% of them are tagged correctly.
About the 65% have only some tags here and there.
Another 20% or so have just the file name as a tag and they miss artist, albums
and all the other tags.
