I don't think so, in either case. The problem is that Chess speaks using system speech, not VoiceOver, and system speech can't talk to braille, only VoiceOver can. I just had a look and, sadly, Chess offers no AppleScript control ability. Maybe the moves are displayed in the window, I'm not sure

As far as I understand it, messages and chat for facebook are essentially the same thing. If you chat someone and they’re offline, it shows up in their messages for them to view later and respond to as they wish. If you’re both online, you can chat with each other in real time. HTH. DFTBA! J
