Bootcamp with touch bar?
Hi, all. I read in an article that when windows is installed via bootcamp on the new mac pros, it will be able to make use of the touch bar. If this is so, would a screen reader that uses the function keys often be able to, well, tap in to that, or would an external keyboard still be needed? Has
Re: Can someone refresh me on Drag and Drop?
I have never been able to drag and drop files. At the moment I am copying, cutting and pasting. If someone could write the steps for me please. Also how does one know that the screen is accessible in both locations? As I use Windows at work I only understand the window ways of cutting, pastin
any good and actually accessible third party transfer tools
Okay, Does anybody out there know of a good and actually accessible third party transfer tool with which I can transfer content from my iPhone to my Mac? And please don’t mention iTunes because that will not do what I want to do. Everything I have tried has basically just plain sucked because
Re: google drive
Hi, the Google Drive app on the Mac creates a folder in your Home Directory similar to the manner that DropBox does. Therefore, everything accessible about the Finder on the Mac is accessible about Google Drive. Google Drive on the web version is accessible to a degree, although as many Googl

Navigating Pages
Hi, I’m creating a very long document on my Mac Book Air with OS 10.11.6. In the keyboard shortcuts list in Help, I see the command to go to read at the top, but where is the Home key to go down? And, while we’re at it, where are the end, page-up and page-down keys? The FN + control + option

I use Google Drive on iOS without difficulties. The app is accessible. I do not know about Google Drive on the Mac. David Chittenden, MSc, MRCAA Email: dchitten...@gmail.com Mobile: +64 21 2288 288 Sent from my iPhone > On 4/03/2017, at 10:03, Tim Kilburn wrote: > > Hi, > > Google Drive is qu
Re: google drive
Hi, Google Drive is quite usable through iOS, but also quite usable on your Mac with both Safari and Google Chrome. Using a combination of tab key presses and arrow keys as well as VO navigation is helpful. The difficulty arises often when opening the Docs, Sheets and such that are often stor
Re: Nearby Explorer vs. Blind Square?
David, to what app you refer to? BlindSquare has been around for 5 years and I have done roughly 100 updates to it (free of charge for all app owners). I still support iOS versions 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, but always make sure that latest devices are supported with maximum performance. I also support ne

My only concern so far is, when I went into the app store. The app in discussion on this list has not been updated for almost 3 years. Since June of 014. If I purchased the app on my IPhone 6S plus. Would I get the prompt that the developer needs to update the app and it could slow down your IPhone

It works on trainstations too, including tracks, delays and all you need. You can control these also from audio menu and with voice commands like "bus", "train" or more specific "bus 22" Sent from my iPhone > On 3 Mar 2017, at 19.16, Scott Granados wrote: > > Just to add to what you’re talkin
Re: Nearby Explorer vs. Blind Square?
It’s funny, you have a European system for error correction but I think it works exactly like ours and of course the satellites are all American if memory serves. There are several competing new systems being designed and I’m not sure I think some are on the way up. The Europeans were working
Re: Nearby Explorer vs. Blind Square?
Just to add to what you’re talking about here. There are a few key sources of error which you bring up and one you skirted by. First, your right, you’re aggregating 3 data sources for location (possibly more). WiFi location that you’ve already covered, tower location and GPS space ba

Harry, did you know that BlindSquare supports super cool public transport support in UK. You may want to go to Other/Settings to check if your shake settings include Public Transport. Best, Ilkka On Fri, Mar 3, 2017 at 5:31 PM, Harry Bell wrote: > Jonathan > Your post was so helpful! I have str

Jonathan Your post was so helpful! I have stressed a lot, trying to find out what I've been doing wrong to make one app or the other so inaccurate!! Perhaps I will be able to chill a bit more and wait for better satellites to provide gps here in the U.K.! So far BlindSquare seems slightly more a
Re: Nearby Explorer vs. Blind Square?
Actually, I am nt sure the issues with accuracy in most cases is the limits of the GPS receivers especially since iPhone's use WiFi as additional triangulation information as much as the OI databases. Since POI databases seem to have street addresses rather than actual lat/long coordinates, and
