Not sure if there is an app to change screen colours like zoomtext, have you
tried writing to accessibil...@apple.com? as for the Firefox bit, you could
create your own CSS which you get Firefox to use instead of the CSS that is on
your web server.

All web browsers have the accessibility feature of being able to use an

Well struggling to find the 100 new features, but have found one that I did
request. When going into setting and selecting Wallpaper you now get a
description of the image as you roll your finger over them, before the update
the wallpaper image was just read out as image. Very useful and hope
and the coloured icons and photos as is. My mum likes to use white on black
text in sun light situations, have set her phone to toggle between negative and
positive with 3 button clicks of the home button. Come on Apple?

This is a stupid question I know, but what are you guys exactly talking about?
When yo say you want to toggle white on black with VO do yo mean the white on
black menus that pop up for things like item chooser etc?

Hi all,
Have any of you taken a look at the re-designed mobileme site yet? I am sure
visually it is stunning, but it seems even less accessible then the previous
site. Ok I can still read my mail, but trying to switch between applications
such as calendars, contacts etc seems impossible. I
Sorry to sound thick, what is OpenBook? is this some sort of OCR for the PC?
And this Fine Reader is this expensive? I am hoping to get an iPal Solo from

Maybe we are all thinking a bit too old school. Two weeks ago Humanware
demonstrated document readers to me which used a camera instead. The camera
was portable as it was on a fold up tripod type thing. The software was on a

Could you not use a Newsreader on the Mac similar to how news groups are
displayed within Outlook Express? I have not used those type of news groups
for years, but I am sure there will be something you could get on the Mac, this

Donna,
Excuse my ignorance, but what audio software do you use on Windows and for what

This is very useful, thank you Mary. I also stumbled across this when I looked
in the VO help area getting started, using os x applications. There is a very

I prefer Apple Mail and Safari to Microsoft's Outlook and Internet Explorer.
You can get AOL instant messenger for the Mac, but personally I prefer iChat
for use with AOL, you can get iChat to also work with Facebook and MSN too
Apple will fix these current problems within weeks I am sure.
See this is where Apple is missing a trick. Garage Band is pretty good for
putting podcasts together, but it would be nice to have some DJ features too.
Better integration with iTunes and some beat matching etc Its been a while
