Actually, it's every bit worth it considering all you can do with Audio Hijack.
Also, as far as I can see, there's nothing to stop you from continuing to use
the latest version of audio hijack pro 2 unless and until it will no longer do
what you want done but audio hijack 3 will.

It’s actually a little more than just Safari. The instant on component needs
to be updated a long with audio hijack pro. so until they put out an update,
you can’t hijack sessions already open or, hijack system audio. The same holds
true for Nicecast.

show up in the table. When on this, VO right arrow to the input tab and press

You would create a session from your line in, and another for your USB mic if
its not set as your default microphone, hijack both, then hit record.

I'm not sure what you mean. If your recording just the mic, it will pick up
whatever the mic picks up. I'm assuming your using headphones so Voiceover
doesn't get picked up by the mic right?
In regards to the volume, you want to go to system preferences/sounds and
select the input tab.
Along a similar line, how would I record something from line in and also from a
USB microphone at the same time? Soundflower? If so, how would I go about
setting that up?

I should note this for you. You may find it necessary to create a seperate
session just for your microphone. Easy to do. Just click on new session and

under the music folder of your home folder. Inside that folder, are all the
audio files of the recordings that audio hijack pro has made.

I can't highjack sound flower with the default system mic input either
just like I use to on skype to be able to talk and play audio to the caller on
the other end
