Hi Helga, Find the text edit doc and then hit "command i" to get info on the doc. Now go to the bottom of that dialogue and find "lock checked check box" Make sure to un lock it so you can edit it. You'll half to put your pass word in for your box to make that change. HTH Chuck CHUCK REICHEL
