struggle with Station playlist studio, but my headset is a Plantronics Usb
wireless ehadset, that is it uses the usb port. Should i be using anything else
and if so what? The strange thing now is that i have monitor devic
To reduce the latency of your XP machine, add a line like, 'pciSound.Buffer =

Hi,
I did as you said, and in the .vmx file, this is what's got to do with sound:
sound.present = "TRUE"
sound.fileName = "-1"
sound.autodetect = "TRUE"
sound.pciSlotNumber = "34"
sound.startConnected = "TRUE"
No Sound.virtual or anything. What obvious thing am i missing?

Hi Krister,
Open the folder where your virtual machine is located. Usually, this is in
~/Documents/Virtual Machines. You should have a file there with the name of
your virtual machine, for example, Windows7.vmwarevm. Press VO-Shift-M on this
file, and select "Show Package Contents". Find the fi

Hi Krister,
Are you, by any chance, using Windows XP in your virtual machine? I ask because
the Soundblaster PCI card that Fusion uses for audio under XP has a 1 second
recording buffer, which might explain why you're having such high latency. I
had this problem when trying to test GWConnect un
Hi Krister, yes I'm doing this usually more than weekly on Mushroom FM.
Audio isn't the best with Fusion, but it works OK with my Edirol UA1-EX as my
studio sound card connected to my mixer and a cheap USB sound card for JAWS. I
sometimes find that this second sound card will cut out, an

Does anyone have experience using Station Playlist Studio for broadcasting
using a virtual machine? The reason why i ask is that when i try using it, the
