Hi All.
I just wonder if anybody knows some accessible app to play chess under MAC OS.
I need something more advanced of the onboard Chess.app.
Chess.app is ok just to play but it lacs of some main features useful for those
who study chess like: openings book, analysis, editing chessboard to play
It does, but I’m looking for something I can connect to ICC or FICS with: a
server that keeps track of Elo rating and such.

Hi,
When the chess program is open, it is set to play human against computer.
Just type in your move, example: e2 e4 and the computer will reply its move.
You can change the settings to play computer against human but it's a little

Hi there,
What this macro does actually would be better served with an external
application.
It is basically a chess clock. I am involved in two chess email lists that play
tournaments over skype. A chess clock is required to time games, but Braille
clocks are very rare and ungodly expensive
I don't know what a chess clock is compared to a normal clock, but why not

I'm not a chess player but I thought a chess clock has two countdown
