Dear List I have noticed that my escape key does not seem to work, I can be
in a menu and the hint says press escape to exit the menu but it doesn't
work. This is probably why speakable items fails. Is there any software
explanation for this or is my escape key physically broken?

VO actually makes it really easy. You'll know when it recognizes the phrases
you speak because it will make a little "whit" sound. When you get that sound
consistently after speaking the phrases in the list, you'll know you have it

Hi Gigi,

on the Mac with Speakable Items turned on. This feature is turned on in System
