That most likely would work, though
Hello,
I just got my 770 back from being repaired (white screen of death). I
reflashed with the os2700 hacker edition. After reading good reviews on the
hacker edition here, I thought maintaining the same system on the n800 and
n770 is nice.
The hacker editon works well, but I see

hey
as a data point, mm was crashing for me on loading topo maps because there
was a corrupt map in the cache. Cleaning the cache fixed the crashing.

I can't speak for Nokia, but: No. There will probably be an N990 or
something similar in a year or two, but I'm sure the N800 is what it is.

Hey Brad,
thanks for the quick reply. I tried removing and recreating the cache dir. No
change. Did you try to start mm from the command line? If yes, did you get
an illegal instruction?
Are you on the 770 hacker edition of os2007 ?
Thanks,

Hello,
I'm trying to run a cacao command on SCratchbox but I

FWIW, I succeeded building `comerr-dev' this way. This required

No, I don't have the skills to apply. ;)
This email hits the list precisely when I was thinking whether would be
useful/acceptable to have a page in maemo.org for job opportunities
around maemo.
Nokia is offering jobs regularly but
Can somebody from Nokia confirm that 3D is an unwanted feature

This is not a tendencious question, is it? :)

great idea as long as someone manages the list to remove obsolescent

I guess we could introduce something like a 1 month period for each

Hello,
I have a shell-based application which I want to support on Maemo. A small
feature of my application is to detect the OS/platform it is running on.
To get this information on other Linux, I invoke `lsb_release` (Sadly, this
command does not exist in the Internet Tablet OS 2007..).

Just a heads up, DOSBox runs 8088 games nicely on the 770, with 256-color VGA
and advmame2x
scaling and pc speaker support. SB16 support works also.
Currently i'm trying to figure out why the mmap2() call breaks requesting more
than 2MB.
80286 and up is reaal slow.
