I am using mailman 2.1.5 on OpenBSD 3.6 sparc64.
I am in process of migrating mailing lists to this machine from another,
so the lists are all set up but are not currently handling mail.
But I am getting a daily reminder from mailman on this machine (mailing
list name changed):

script to add_members and need them to have the moderate bit switched on

I successfull install mailman 2.1.5 at RedHat 9.0, but I have some
questions here :
1. How to change the owner ? from /$prefix/bin/list_owners I get one, I
want to edit nor add another one
2. If a milis created, it always send notification to owner of mailman

I switched to a local provider. As a naive user, it never occurred to
me that a check would be of value. The local provider was on a couple
of blacklists because of problems in years past. I was able to resolve
the problems without a lot of effort (fortunately). So, yes, there _

I've been getting a lot of errors of this nature lately on a list that I run. It appears that
mailman might be trying to re-send the message to everyone in the "To:" field, instead
of just to the list members, and it isn't expecting to have to do that. I can't find any
configuration item t
C2 installs with the stock
mailman rpms without any problems. I am curious about this issue but
have to leave the office for a while and won't be able to research this
now.

and untick the mod (moderated) box for that address.

Idea 2: Find the html source code for the "pending requests" page and
locate the "discard all deferred items" checkbox. Determine which
script gets run and the appropriate arguments. Then run the script from
the command line.

With 2.1.5 there's a "Discard all messages marked Defer" checkbox. I use
that, followed by the "Submit All Data" button. Seems that's all that's
needed.
