[mapguide-users] two requests

2008-10-31 Thread Haris Kurtagic
In Autodesk MapGuide Enterprise Update 1 Readme, I found this interesting: ■ FDO Oracle trace showed two sets of queries for a single layer when there should have been only one. Web browsers were sending a second render map request because of PNG transparency issues with the map image.

I checked and It was already set to Every time I visit the webpage. Although I don't see how that would be reason for generating two requests to MG. I also tried to find example of transparent PNG and I viewed it in IE 7. I used Fiddler and I can see only one request send for that png while

Thanks. I'll watch for the failure for the service to start; so far it's been running fine. As for the IIS worker process stopped error, this seems to be a PHP ISAPI agent problem: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=44047. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL

2008-10-31 Thread Dave Wilson
I was concerned that any code in the Web Layout that gets served to the client may have been cached, but that appears not to be the issue. The two requests was originally an issue in IE6 because IE doesn't handle the transparency in the PNG image so it would fail and then send a second request
