You are likely running Vertical Mapper at the same time as trying to set a
projection via the UT, and the dialog disappears. This is a Northwood

It's either a long file name issue across your network, or you can't write to
these files from your machine as you do not have permission to do so (probably
write permission as you've already installed it). Copy the themetemplate.lst
file to your local machine in a thmtmplt folder under MI Pro
If you have a Map Window open with a vector map of the same area as the raster
image, you can then use Table>Raster>Select Control Point from Map. When you
select a point off the vector map which corresponds to same location in raster
image, the control point dialog should pop up with that coor
