G'day I keep getting a system error 31109 whenever I try to print a layout = window (this causes MapInfo to crash). I am using MapInfo v6.0 on = Win2000 (500Mhz Celeron with 192Mb ram). The printer is a HP Designjet = 932C (and I have just installed the correct drivers from the HP site). I =

I would disagree too; however, I have seen it with my own eyes. It happened when there was an oddly shaped region and the bounds for the table were still set at 180x360 for whole-earth coverage. In this case there was a long diagonal edge, and the centroid indeed was placed outside the polygon

Check out the software package sold by the University of Nottingham's Department of Geomatics. With a $150 Garmin 12, a laptop, and connecting cable and their software, you can get sub-meter accuracy. So they say. My guess is that it does work with post-processing. Prof. Clifford J. Mugnier
