Hi all.
Can anyone advise me which Oracle Client components must be installed to
access spatial data in Oracle from MapInfo? The Oracle client install
options range from 12MB to 750MB. I don't want to install all 750 MB 60
times!
We are running Oracle Standard 9.2.0.1 on a Win 2K Server (SPA).
For those of you using the shareware MI3D (3D viewing of MapInfo MIG and VM GRD grid

Dear all
I'm trying to create a legend for a thematic range - the range values use a
period instead of a comma for thousands, eg 1.000 instead of 1,000
This seems to be confusing Mapinfo. Values below 1000 are aligned to the
left, while values above align to the right. Eg:
1.200 - 1.400
Hello everybody!
I have updated my Vertical Mapper to 3.0, but i have not updated the Vertical

Hi Jaimini,
The search and replace function is a MapInfo Tool. If you click on Tools and
Tool Manager you will see you can load Search and Replace. You have to be
careful with this as it will only replace the first instance of the
character in each row. The program code can be modified quite

I have installed the entire US and I would like to make a nationwide seamless table
using the MBX that comes with StreetInfo. However, when doing this, only states A
through M show up as areas that I can create seamless tables from. Does anyone have
experience with this and a way to work

I experienced similar problems when using the Strtapnd.mbx program to create
seamless tables from StreetInfo data. I did have success however using the
stand alone, MapSmBld.exe program which is also included on the StreetInfo CD.
Good luck.

Any ideas?

My question is as follows.
I am currently experimenting with a bit of freeware supplied by Spatial Plus
called LinkPlus.mbx.
This prog allows Mapinfo polygons to contain/link to any number of extra
files e.g. images, internet sites etc.
The problem is that it works onshort file path names.
