Hi Bill,
I remember having a similar issue a while a go, besides turning fastedit
off, make sure there aren't any fields indexed. This should speed up
the processing and may prevent the crash as well (by reducing the file
size limit)

Is the a way of controlling the distance between the lines in a hatch

Is there a way to do a thematic map that will have a set number of
entries in a thematic map (ie. have the top 10 one color, the bottom 10

Thanks in advance.

hello all,
Does anybody know of a network trace tool that will work using data stored
within Oracle Spatial 9i
I would prefer to use a tool that directly interfaces with Oracle rather
than using Oracle through MapInfo because of the serious performance issues
of querying Oracle data in MapInfo.

I am attempting to import region data from MapInfo 7.0 GIS layers into
CorelDraw 11 graphics package by creating DXF files via Universal
Translator.
The Translation procedure works fine, as does the importation into
CorelDraw. However, where things break down is when I try to apply new line
thick
Have you tried to do a Set Window FrontWindow() before PrintWin ?

Subject: RE: MI-L How to convert raster map in vertical mapper
Hadi Zuhri,
Hadi Zuhri,
If you have Vertical Mapper you can use the contour button to convert to
vector, but then I guess then you don't need it in vector. The most recent
MapInfo Pro can open Vertical Mapper grid directly, what version are you using
of MI?
There used to be a raster handler for viewing
Hi Bill,
TMA, TDA and TIN files are only generated when you haven't run "set
table xxx fastedit off undo off" from the mapbasic window or in your
mapbasic code. By doing so, your processing will become even faster.
Nobody on the list has ever reported being able to recover TMA, TDA and
TIN files,
Hello list,
I have a vb application with integrated mapping. The application has a
visible legend and a visible map. There is a hidden layout active.
Sending the "Create frame" via a MapInfo.do commando to the layout window
works fine. It returns no errors.
When I issue the "Printwin" commando,
hi everybody
