Yep, that's the way to do it. You can also fix the output location here
e.g. c:\pdf. The file takes the window title as the default name e.g.
layout.pdf so you may want to issue a 'set window title' before printing
to give it a more meaningful name - particularly useful when used in a
loop!
Hello Listers
How do I change the settings on the File / Open Dialog Box to default to
Current Mapper as my Preferred View instead of Automatic?
Thanks.

Hi Peter,
The short answer is : no.
The longer answer is : not easily.
The first row of region brushes are vector based, and hard-coded. The rest of
the brushes are made from small bitmapped tiles
included in the resource repository MIRES###.DLL, name/numbered 1 - 165 (in
7.8).

Hi everyone
I would like to open a file sequentially with Open File filename For
Input As # 111 but filename is like file.special.
Open statment truncates the filename and tries to open file.spe instead
Any idea ?
Thank you
Christophe
I should imagine that (at least your version of) MB/MI is adhering to
the old DOS 8-char name and 3-char extension format (or at least just
the extension part). I'd suggest you ensure your file has only a 3 char
extension.

than any other non problematic one. All
To follow on the speed issues I wanted to add my two cents...
I've been using ram drive technology with cad and other high end software for
about fifteen years. It's a must to improve performance but one has to know how

layer. This is a simple combine using plain values (ie no sum() or other
fancy aggregates).

How can I make this more universal, that
I have a large number of images registered and displayed in a map browser
(with associated other data). I am looking for a script that would interator
over each image printing each one to a separate piece of paper.
Also is there a way to determine the bounds of an image?
Thanks
Brad.
