if the object(s) selected to copy/paste are entirely within
the mapper, the screen does not resize. if an object or any portion of an object
is outside the mapper, the screen will resize and reposition using the mbr
method. that code has been around since v5.5 and had not really
changed.
I / we should expect that MapInfo Corp will
develop a cross-compiler or middleware product which will translate existing
MapBasic code/calls into equivalent .Net code/calls.
They have already done this for MapXtreme to
Envinsa, so you would expect the same for the desktop products…
Thanks to all who have replied.
Several of you suggested the same method…using
the ‘run command ‘ variable string.
It works fine.
Thanks again to all!

It is easy to program a specific layer to be visible only in a specified

Does anyone know if it is possible to program a specific layer to be visible

Brush/Makebrush command.
The problem is that the shade command does not accept "coln" expressions in
the Brush/makebrush part of the command.
Any tips on how to achieve my goal ?

It should be only the style associated with the 15 value that should be
visible on the chart, and not the zero values.
This looks like a bug to me, is there a way to come around this problem ?
