find out what is the correct datum for your data and then replace the 0 in
the co-ord sys statement with the correct number. Don't reproject your data
because that will move the positions, and that almost certainly isn't what
you want to do.

lines had all
apparently moved 50cm or so away from the Mastermap points. The solution is
to make the bounds smaller which then allows more of the digits to be used
for the decimal places and therefore you can have better accuracy.

One way would be to create a convex hull from the point selection, then get
the centroid of the convex hull polygon. I imagine Combine Objects using
Attribute would work on your points so you can group them together by shared
attribute first.

over 150 metres, so there is something much more fundamental. I suspect
maybe the projection or datum has been set incorrectly when the data was

terrabyte image is Landsat for the entire world as a single image. Install
the ECW plugin for MapInfo and you can open it across the web by using the

I have sorted how to keep my data in MS Access and then get MapInfo to
connect and display it. This works fine for Access tables which just have a
single map point per record.

extract from our Europe database, and it is all in MapInfo format if you
