Agreed: thanks to Brian for running the process, and thanks to the WG
for the support.
It may have appeared self-serving to engage during the discussion phase
but, for the record, I fully support both Nina and Massimo as co-chairs.
I'm looking forward to working with both!
Cheers,
S.
Thanks Brian and thanks to everybody that participated to the nomination
process in this mailing list.
I cannot wait to work with Nina and Stephen on serving this wg!

I believe we’re ready to call consensus on this question.
We have support for appointing Massimo Candela, Stephen Strowes, and Nina
Bargisen as chairs of MAT WG. Congratulations to the new chairs!
I note that our process of record doesn’t say anything about *when* this change
will be

Hi Randy,
I’ll take your third question first, because it’s the easiest. From RIPE-692
section 2:

All three are good and have support.
Nina has practical experience as chair. Massimo and Stephen bring different
current work experience. All three are known to support new ideas.
This will be a good chair team with both experience and potential. They will be
good for the WG.
I wager that

will more members make the group more informative and productive, ow is
it just a social 'compromise' and next time we'll have four ot five?

Greetings, all,
I will be calling consensus on this point tomorrow, but looking over the
feedback received during (and before) the comment period, I see a few themes
emerging I’d like to get some feedback on before making that call:
(1) Support for all three candidates.
(2) A desire for new
Hi all,
I support Massimo.
I have been working in the past with him on the topic of Internet
Measurements and I believe he is a good fit for this role.

Hi all,
Agree that we have excellent candidates here!
I've been following Massimo's work for the last few years and it would be
great to see him chairing the WG.
All the best to all of you.

Hi All,
I worked with Massimo and Stephen, both are excellent candidates.
However, in the past I had a chance to work with Massimo closely on
the RIPE Atlas, and I know his passion towards MAT topics, so if it
goes down to a single vote my preference goes to him.

Greetings, all,
The call for interested parties is now closed. Thank you to our candidates (in
order of received statement of interest):

This opens the call for discussion on the candidates; the current chairs will

I am super excited to see the interest in chairing the MAT-WG. I'd like to
put myself forward to take another turn in co-chairing the working group

the team.

As a reminder, this call for interest to co-chair MAT-WG is open until next
Monday; please send a note to the list if you’re interested in volunteering as

Strowes so far.
Thanks, cheers,

Hi all,
I'd also like to put myself forward to co-chair MAT WG.
I always enjoy MAT WG meetings. I'm a big fan of building connections
between people who do network operations and people who do network data
analysis, and MAT is a part of that; I think it's a great venue for
making progress on

Greetings, all,
It has been a while since we have run our chair selection process (see

we look to returning to in-person meetings in Berlin it occurred to us that now
would be a good time to do so.
