Yes. if you can find it used, I would recommend the 20th-anniversary

Just buy it. It's a classic.

Hi. I just got my Sharp 831, and although I'm oextremely impressed overall,
the level out of the headphone jack seems too low for using it as a
lineout, even with the volume at 30/30. What should I do to correct this?
I was thinking of running it into my soundcard with the input level higher
Ok, a related question, what are the *BEST* earbuds, forgetting all about
cost? I love the various pairs of Grados I have, but it's nice to have
something relatively inconspicuous in a lot of situations. A decent-length
cord would be nice too ... the stock Sharp buds that came with my mt831

battery ... is it available from anywhere besides Sharp Japan? Reading
about LiIon cells, it sounds as if they last a good thousand
charge/discharge
Thanks Leon for the suggestion and comments on the 831...Dave in the UK as
well.
Hope it gets here before the Jeff Beck show I have good seats for, in a
small 2,-seat venue! *grin*

Other than digital out, what other differences are there between the top
consumer-grade and "professional" grade portable MD recorders? I've heard
there is one such "pro" model by Marantz ... are there any newer that have
LP mode available?
thanks much,
Chris
