1) Turn your computer volume up to about 8, high, but not so high that it distorts.
2) Put the JE320 into record mode, so you can see the VU meters "dance"
3) Set the record level on the JE320 so that the peek is about 1 bar below the "0"
level

The JE530 does not, I repeat DOES NOT have the S-link interface. I looked at the web
site, and called 1 (800) 222-SONY today to double check. I would swear that the Sony
