Tugrul asked,
| On every MD deck and portable I owned there was

Every deck? I've never heard of a deck with that feature. On portables
it's standard. My experience with CD players is similar: portables resume
(or have a switch to enable resumption), while
. Still I long for a perfect PC-MD transfer method identical to CD-MD
transfer. Real time or not doesnt bother me.

A review on the Xitel MD-Port AN1 and DG2
with reference to MD.

The main negative comments are the real time transfer
issue, and not being
only to Winamp
while other windows sounds come from the soundcard. Thats great. Now I am
recording Kapsberger's Arie a Villanelle and DG2 marked the first track mark
well, but unfortunately trimmed the first second of the next track. If
someone could find a solution to this.

errors.
It's been more than 4 years, and it served well. I had written a comparaison
on that and Sony E35 back then. Anyway my house is a bit of junkyard now. I
cant sell my old equipment and I buy new ones. I may go for another portable
in the future, but it wont be for a 909.

happened to the original adapter.
Today we measured the output of my 220-110V convertor to see that it
supplies exactly 119V. I know that 110V US current does not harm the unit,
do you think 119V burnt that adapter?

Hi Tugrul
The adaptor you have won't harm the unit in anyway
right, a boombox without
batteries is really weird. I dont know but maybe they think you're buying it
for its MD feature, and every MD freak has also a portable. Just a guess.
Tugrul
Does this boombox operate on batteries as well as AC? I saw a recently
released Sony boombox runs on AC power only
recording works like a dream with a single button push. The sound is loud
and rich.
I really recommend this unit, especially if you also need a cassette
recorder.

I'm looking for a boombox or mini shelf system with a CD player and MD
