case, specs for MZR 55 are honest, you should take out of it at least 4
hours playback and about 3 hours of recording. Those numbers for the other
well, I added up the playing times of the minidiscs from full batt life to 0
batt. I played the MD's straight through without any repeat/random or
recording and the total time it played was only 7.5 hours--- less that 2/3's
than the claimed time of 12hrs. i will try it again sometime to see but

I know this is being lazy and probably inaccurate...
The specs you see from the manufacturers are made under the condition that
they test for 4 hours only during each 24 hour period. Maybe 4 hours'
sitting still wouldn't be that inconvenient. Put the disc on all-repeat.
