recording MDs. I was overjoyed to find that my PS2 had a more
practical
use than vegeing out with games! I've also found that the PS2 seems
to
read audio CDs better, without skips etc., than some CD players -

The original PlayStation (PS1??) plays audio CD-RWs no problem, so I

I'm considering buying a Playstation 2; as I don't have a CD player with optical out
(and am happy with the one I've got, which has no digital out), would the PS2 be
suitable for recording digitally to MD? Does it pass trackmarks and work just like a
CD player?

Yes, I have one running my USB mouse into the ps/2 mouse port, the same

You do realize, don't you, that before there was the PS2 (PlayStation
2) there was the PS/2 (Personal System/2)...a personal computer built
by IBM? You also realize, don't you, that before those computers,
keyboards used a large 5-pin DIN connector, and that since, computers
now use a 6-pin mini
