Mercata.com give $100 to any new customer with them...
This is not really a $100, it's 20% of the value of the products you want to
pay. So the max you can save is 20% of what you want to buy from them. Also,
how mercata works is really simple, it's a power buy ! More people buy, less
each
You say that the Sharp 722 has no editing functions? Is it a joke? You have a
button called EDIT or something like that. You access to DISC NAME, TRACK NAME,
COMBINE, DIVIDE, TRACK ERASE, ALL ERASE functions.
Moreover, on my Sharp 722, when I press
You didn't read very closely...what was said was that the 722 *remote*
didn't have many editing features. Whether or not that's true is beyond
me, as I only have the MT15.

I had a Sharp 702 and a Sony R30. Bothe came with rechargable LiIon

The 722 remote does have some recording funtions.
Obviously, pause and stopand record

Where did you see DOA?? Most of these units lasted a few weeks. This had

No. I'm saying that the 701/2 was bad. The rest of the Sharps seem to be fine.

Bad compared to what?
I own a 702 and a 722, no problems. Friends of mine own 701s, 702s and
722s, no problems. I have yet to actually see a 701, 702 or 722 fail.
For the most part I love my 722, though it is
somewhat fragile, physically. Esp the eject
lever and mechanism. I've had it since Dec
and never see a UOTC error.
The irony here is that most people consider the Sharp
700-series to be among the sturdiest, least fragile

I have two friends who want to buy Sharp MS-722... I used to sell them
before but since I don't have any in stock, I was wondering where is the
best place to buy this unit on internet...
If you could give me the best spots to buy this unit, my friends will really
appreciate this...

Denied.
I got a MS722 for $133 from www.mercata.com (after a
20% discount for signing up). It wouldn't record and
generated UTOC errors right out of the box. They sent
me a new one and I sent the old one back. The new one
works fine and for $133 was quite a deal.
