Yes, the stethoscope would be of great value and would probably allow
you to narrow down to the one or two DV's that were making the noise.
However, I would use it between each DV during the engine re-start to
reduce or eliminate the extra noise from having the intake manifold
removed.

My Indy has a 93 190E with only 85,000 miles for sale. He just replaced the
head gasket. It's a pretty nice car - just too small for me.
Somebody emailed me about taking a closer look at the 126 rodbender for sale

One last quote on injector tolerances:
All of the injectors should be within 5 bar of one another (the tolerable window
for new or rebuilt injectors from Bosch is 10 bar). Getting the injectors closer
than that (within 1 or 2 bar) will smooth the idle a bit more, but that's a LOT
of work. I se
The snow dusting we were 'sposed to get evidently went to Wonko and Curt;
they're welcome to it. I'm sure the local grocers appreciate the business
generated here yesterday by the forecast, too.

I was going to take the interior from the yellow for Gump. Really

The car really is just a few blocks away. I could not figure out why
it kept moving about though. It was parked on one side street for a

did not want it and it got slapped with a tow sticker. No he sells it.

The big Grand Touring I was riding last night feels downright scary if you
carve with it. A small light machine in deep powder can be a BLAST but very
tiring.
We're looking at an "angry inch" today. I'm going to make every effort to hit
the trails tonight and make the best of it.

I've used one other kit from Mercedes source (124 blower motor), and
found it to be pretty close to 'as advertised'; I think they do a good
job but I've only got one experience. This one is at least missing a
good solvent for cleaning the injectors, and I'd verify the claims about
