I do not want or like too many surprises after having Gump. With the current search for viable cabriolet fun, I take a ground cloth and ramps to every car I look at.Good way to get underneath for a cursory peek for leaks and weirdness. If it is good enough to pass that inspection, then I

I have the ramps and cloth, so all I have to do is convince someone to crawl under after me to take a better look at the stuff I can't feel. There are so many points for fluid leakage as wel like oil cooler ps and fuel hoses, radiator hoses, etc that can really add up. And if one blows, it

That is an issue. I found a good UK book Essential Buyer's Guide on fleabay for the w107. Make a long checklist and have a small kit with mirrors and goodies to do a 1 hour inspection. I show up with my clipboard, mirrors, magnets, and stuff. Most of the time they bug eyes and start to

That is your damn fault, and I got you back by selling you the POS SDL. Never will find a score like that again. Why do people think their junk, delayed care convertible is worth the inflated price they put on it? Looked at fleabay and the bulk of the w107 are right at $5k if they sell.

The funny thing with Gump was the guy tried for months to sell it as a real car for $5k IIRC. When it was posted as parts, she brought no real cash, but it was a sale. Saying the blower motor is shot is a perfect way to have to put the car as parts instead of real car. And still I got twice
