Sniffers aren't always perfect, but they do a good job. With air blowing
all around sometimes they can't pinpoint the problem.

Someone who owned our '95 E320 fastened something like this to both front
door covers, leaving four holes drilled in the material. One of the old
cup
Bolt 'em on the outside of the door. Doubles as a cooler in the

I have struggled with a place for cup holders in my 1984 300D until I purchased
the type that is supposed to slide between the seat and the center console. It
doesn't work In the position it was designed for however it does fit in the
door pocket very well and holds my coffee or soda very secur

restoration. New parts specific to the "E" are probably priced out
o sight.

If keeping track is really an issue you might look into one of the GPS
devices that attach to the car and report position to your private internet
link to the device. A google search should give you several to choose from.
Real time tracking is possible and the device is cheaper than a trip
