Any suggestions for turning the list on again? A List Mom knows
of the problem so maybe they'll fix it ;-)
Friend used to think he had to help me get my scooter in and out of
trunk/boot of my 124. 'Seems he couldn't wait to slam it closed. 'Took a
while for 'im to heed my instructions to please let me do it all by myself,

Two events I enjoyed were a visit to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile
Museum when we belonged to the Cincinnati section and a visit to the Vance
AL factory when a member of the FL Panhandle section. But most events were
social.

The 'good neigbhour' quiet closing system was introduced for the 124
wagons, presumably because MB was getting feedback that 'slamming' the
rear door shut at un Godly hours is a big no no.
Also if someone slams the rear door shut whilst you're sitting in the

DBAG no longer makes the ignition lock, just the tumbler and key. W116 and
W107 are S.O.L. if you need one from the factory. Chinese now manu-fake a

In my experience this is pretty much how it goes in a volunteer run things. If
it weren't for Dwight ChowdaQ wouldn't have ever gotten off the ground. I
certainly couldn't pull it off, I tried once and failed after all, of course it
did rain...
