My wife drives a 2006 Cadillac SRX. I am not very confident about its long term reliability. It has the 3.6L engine and they have a well documented design flaw. They eat timing chains and consume a lot of oil. It has 125,000 miles and as long as we keep the oil topped up, it seems okay.

Tiger striping sounds like inconsistent coverage, probably you are too close to the panel when you paint. Better quality rattle cans tend to cover better. I hate how most of them make a round profile, you end up with too much paint around the edges and not enough in the center. Better quality
