Agree the benefits are light which is why I want to get some numbers from them
before committing.
As far as current job, it’s hard to see there will anymore layoffs since people

The company I work for went to "Flexible PTO" a couple years ago, before that I
had, I think, 4 weeks, after 10 years in.Supposedly with flexible PTO people
tend to take less time off, not this guy, I take at least 4 week
The job offer came in. It was full asking price so to speak. It may end up
being a little bit more travel than I currently have, or it might not. Since
they fired half the company, we have had mass exit of people on their own
resulting in an increased customer base for the rest of us to handle.
I've never found stupid to be funny or entertaining ... just makes me mad.

There will be other issues besides the Black Death. EGR will be borked as will
the intake manifold flaps and operator. EGR can’t be fixed without an
aftermarket bypass and the intake manifold flaps can’t be fixed without
removing the intake manifold, which I believe requires removal of the engin
Doesn't look too bad. If I were to get a 240D though I'd want a manual trans.

Possibly. It’s quite messy and there is potential for major repairs if things
go south on you. Injectors can (and will) be stuck, hold down bolts can break
or puncture the water jacket. I’ve done it, but it’s not fun or for the faint
of heart. Knowing what I do now I wouldn’t do it again.

Inerestingly enough the 99 4m wagon, fewer miles I got for my daughter
last year was exactly half that price and was in very good condition,

He decided to choose rebuild. Evidently, this shop has a cult-like following
among 3rd Gen 4Runner guys all of whom say their rebuilt drive lines are better
than anything thing you can buy new. Plus the price was less than $100 more
than a new one…which you’d still have to get balanced.
