If it's built in Japan the VIN will start with JT2 for cars and JT4 for
trucks, if I remember correctly. The US made Camry, Avalon and Corolla
started with 2T1 and 1T1.

Friends of mine working for Toyota in the UK told me that the Corolla had
the same carb but did NOT suffer the same problems. May have been a fuel

Common rail direct injection.it's been out here since 98. There's a
new-ish gasoline injection system called FSI or something. Uses a direct
injection principle I thinksupposed to improve fuel economy

The trailer wiring harnesses here are a lot different than North American
ones. It's a big round plug, approx 2 inches across and sits to the right of
the hitch. My new Audi A4 TDI manual has a factory hitch! VERY nice!

Denso filters will be good quality as they are a Japanese OEM supplier.
They were spun off from Toyota many years ago and may be still part of the
umbrella group. Full name is Nippondenso and they make paerts for Toyota,

It actually has TEN radiators and a 100 litre fuel tank. At top speed it
gets 125l/100 km or just 2.1 mpg fuel economy. It'll empty the tank in

We have had the DRLs here in Canada since 1994. The reasoning at the time
was a satudy doe in Sweden that showed a 50% or higher drop in the chance of
being in a collision with your headlights on.

What you see at night is the same as what you DON'T see in the daylight. If
you see that much smoke in the daytime, LOOK INTO IT.
