The old Metro was pretty unrefined but a fun drive. A friend had a convertible
with the 3cyl. As they say its more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast
car slow. I definitely would prefer a Cruze in an accident.

The older Dodge truck 488ci 8.0l V10 is 300/450 on regular gas. It's torque
that makes a truck
a truck, and not a haul-ass grocery getter.

My thoughts, exactly. Keep in mind it's torque that makes cars pleasantly
drivable, so optimize for that rather than HP. My 200D had only what, 55HP?

I've always heard that almost all car batteries sold in the USA are made by
Johnson Controls or Exide. If that's still true, the branding on the battery
probably doesn't make a lot of difference.
