Re. the melted/burned blower fuse, etc., last week: 'Just replaced the SDL
blower fusible link, holder, terminal screws and the "cooked" terminal on
one of the wires. 'Cut the wire back, cleaned wire with Dremel wire brush
and installed new terminal eye trying to maximise contact/conduction (to
Speed regulator? You mean the "porcupine?" That was new 5 years ago, too.

I've got two to replace soon, as the used units weren't much better
than the ones that locked up.

Wife told me coupla hours ago that blower fuse in SDL blew today, i. e.,
blower suddenly quit. Few minutes ago I went out to check it, install new
fusible link, etc. First glance found one end of the holder melted, fuse
mounting screw and end of wire on one side "cooked." Finally got
melted/cook
