any significant length of time until my indy lent me one for two days
while working on my 124. Now I know what "drive it like you stole it"
REALLY means! It maintained cruising speed just fine on the flat, but
it's pretty disconc
Reminds me of an article I read in the Indy Star a couple of years ago
when the first of the new Beetle Convertibles came out. I don't
remember it verbatim, but the general idea was this:

Alex, you have to turn everything off for the 616 to make any speed.
Gump has not power robbing accessories, so she is a little speed demon.
I think her 0-60 is in the 25 second range.

I too have noticed over the years that 123 240D's feel MUCH slower than
115 versions. Talking about autos, not sticks. Same probably applies
though.
