Don't be scared of the B pillar damage. The services of a competent body
shop with a frame shop should pull it back to position pretty quickly, done
and dusted.. then find a replacement door, paint to match.. adjust the rear
door so the car has proper fit and margins... you could be back in
You've got enough going on. Let the shop fix it properly, and let her insurance
pay for a rental while your car is being repaired. If they want to total it, in
my experience their offer will be more than fair. I'd take it and move on. It's
only a car.

Last week they requested photos of the damage, which I sent. I let the adjuster
know in that email that I would be taking the car on Wednesday (today) to get
estimates from the local MB certified shop that the dealer uses. Previous to
