I got a great deal on the Bosio nozzles on a vw parts site by just cross
referencing the parts number. Did the same when I needed new accelerator pumps
for the Zenith carbs. MB part was $140. BMW used these same carbs on numerous
models. Their part was $38.
I’d be interested in paying up for
I've seen a number of people complain about the prices that the DieselGiant
charges. It's mostly newbies who don't know better to shop this stuff.
I'm good for cores now - Clay found me a set at his knackers. Thanks to all who
offered.

Probably would be my guess. I ordered 12 Bosio nozzles earlier in the year from
dieselgiant I believe and I see they are $47 per nozzle now on his site. I
think this is quite a bit more than I paid as I don't think I would paid that
much. For that price I would probably just order complete Bosch
Yes, on most of his stuff. Granted, there's some value in paying someone else
to do all the up front stuff, but I think that's part of the fun. He also
provides additional materials in some cases, too. For the most part it's
information that's readily available on the web.

Looking for a set of cores (5) to rebuild for the 82 300D. Don?t
have to be pretty, as I?ll replace the nozzles.
Drop me a PM if you?ve got some.
Thanks,
Dan

I'll take German over Italian any day. My local production Bosch shop only uses
Monark nozzles when available. They said (off the record, of course) that the
quality of Bosch nozzles has been inconsistent ever since they started making
them in India.

Bosio is the way to go from what I hear. I am currently rebuilding the
injectors in my SDL with them.

It's foolish to rebuild without replacing nozzles, in my opinion. A set of new
Monark nozzles from a German supplier are $135/shipped, cheaper than Ken's
markup, making replacement inexpensive and an assurance of getting many
thousands of miles out of a rebuild.

Are your cores not good? I’m just about to do mine. I bought a set of Bosio
(Italian) nozzles a couple of years ago from some VW site when they were on
sale. Bergsma recommends Monark (German) and he sells them on his site. Kent
also has a lot of good information about nozzles including some
I’m in no hurry.
