Ok, then you are right. I never had one of those. All mine either had the firewall resistor or the 81+ relay. The 80 had the expensive 116 SD relay, but with help form Max, I changed the wiring so it uses the cheaper 81+ relay that is cheaper. fmiser via Mercedes

The old one has the swing arm intake manifold, and probably oil bath air cleaner. The 81 uses the flat intake manifold with the bolt for the paper air filter on top. TO keep it 81, you need to use the newer manifold and air cleaner. Same with the A/C compressor. Keep it 81. THe york co

Not according to what I observe on Union Pacific. (The main east/west line runs about ten Benz-lengths from my office window).
